Join the Black and Gold
To honor our commitment of being the 209's top pre-professional club, we hold open tryouts every year in order to evaluate all the top talent the valley has to offer. We use these tryouts tohelp build out our USL teams as well as identify the rising talent for our USL Academy team.
Players that attend these tryouts may be asked to return for additional evaluation/training sessions in order to secure roster spots.
USL2 Open Tryout
Date: April 12th & 13th
Time: Apr. 12th 10am - 12pm/ Apr. 13th 2-4pm
Location: Academica Soccer Fields
Registration Fee: $40
This is your shot to join the 209's only USL2 club! This two day tryout will give you the chance to impress our coaching staff and join us for the 2025 summer season. All players that make the squad will have their costs fully covered and compete against the best talent in the country.
NOTE: The April 13th session is invite only. Players will be notified of their status after the April 12th session.
USL W Open Tryout
Date: April 19th
Time: 12pm - 2pm
Location: Academica Soccer Fields
Registration Fee: FREE
This is your chance to play on the highest level of amateur soccer in the country! In a division full of elite college, club, and aspiring professional players, our USL W League is looking for the best the Valley has to offer. Sign up now for your shot at glory in Black and Gold.
This tryout is a supplement to our current recruiting efforts and is open to all elite HS/Club, collegiate, and post collegiate players.
How to Prepare
● Registration: Make sure to register online in advance. Spots are limited!
● Equipment: PLEASE WEAR A BLACK SHIRT. Bring your soccer gear, including appropriate footwear, shin guards, and
water bottles.
● Check-In: Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to start time for registration and warm-up.
